Whitechapel - Somatic Defilement [CD] [New CD]

Released in 2007, The Somatic Defilement is Whitechapel's visceral debut and a foundational pillar of modern deathcore. Featuring foundational deathcore anthems like "Fairy Fay" and "Prostatic Fluid Asphyxiation," The Somatic Defilement remains a landmark release—a sickeningly heavy, culture-shifting debut that birthed a modern metal empire. Built around a dark, grim concept of Jack the Ripper, it delivers a relentless barrage of punishing drop-tuned grooves, guttural vocal shifts, and mosh-inducing breakdowns that remain deeply influential.
