Girlfriends is Jerry Joiner. At nineteen years old, he recorded the eponymous album ""Girlfriends"" (and companion album ""Girlfriends (Reverse)"" in 2009. The only records to his name, the albums features angular guitar, arrhythmic drumming and shouted group vocals. A new generation is discovering the enduring youth and pain of Joiner's music nearly seventeen years later.
