Rankins Family, The

Canadian country folk group from Mabou, Nova Scotia, formed in 1989.
John Morris Rankin died in a car accident in Cape Breton on January 16, 2000.
Geraldine Rankin, one of the original founders of the group, died in Calgary January 10, 2007, the result of a brain aneurysm.
Raylene Rankin died on September 30, 2012, after a long fight with cancer.
