Michael Joseph Bishop

Producer and audio engineer from Beachwood, Ohio, U.S.A. (born 14 June 1951; died 29 March 2021).

He worked as recording and mastering engineer at Cleveland Recording Company (1972-1976) and Suma Recording Studio (1976-1988), becoming studio manager at the latter. He started working freelance for Telarc Records in 1978, eventually becoming their chief engineer in 1988. After Telarc closed its production department in December 2008, he co-founded Five/Four Productions, Ltd.

His lacquer cuts can be identified by "MB" etched in the runouts, accompanied by the studio ("CRC" or "Suma").
