American blues musician and songwriter, born 6 September 1925 in Dunleith, Mississippi, USA, died 29 August 1976 in Oakland, California, USA. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 (Performer).
Often miscredited for writing "Big Boss Man" written by Al Smith and Luther Dixon.
Clyde Otis and Ivory Joe Hunter also wrote a song titled "Ain't That Lovin' You Baby" released one year later than the Jimmy Reed's song: Eddie Riff - Ain't That Lovin' You, Baby / My Baby's Gone Away
