Jan Akkerman

Dutch guitarist, born 24 December 1946 in Amsterdam. Founder member of "Brainbox" and "Focus" with Thijs van Leer. He left Focus in 1976, being replaced by Philip Catherine, following a solo career.

Brother of Cocky Akkerman.
