Ian Patrick McLagan
British keyboardist, born 12 May 1945, in Isleworth, Middlesex, England, UK; died 3 December 2014 in Austin, Texas, USA, after a stroke, at the age of 69. Was married to Sandy Sarjeant (1968 to 1972), and Kim Mclagan (née Kim Kerrigan/Kim Moon; 1978, until her death in 2006). Known as "Mac."
First started playing in bands in the early 1960s in West London (including the Muleskinners and the Boz People). Joined the Small Faces in 1965; later Faces in 1969, and after their split in 1975, worked as a sideman for The Rolling Stones (circa 1978), and joined the New Barbarians (1979).
Relocated to Los Angeles, California, in 1979, to start his solo career, eventually forming The Bump Band for his second solo album; then relocated to Austin, Texas, in 1994.
