His lacquer cuts until 1981 can be identified by A - B - I or A - B - II or A - B - III,
where the B stands for Berlin and the roman numerals for the cutting room/lathe.

His DMM cuts since 1982 can be identified by DMM A - B - I or DMM A - B - II or DMM A - B - III,
where the B stands for Berlin and the roman numerals for the cutting room/lathe.

In 1956 he developed, together with Horst Redlich and Georg Neumann, a dual sound (stereophonic) track transducer head, enabling the recording and pickup of record grooves.
