Paul Francis Gadd

Flamboyant British glam rock singer.
Born May 8, 1944 in Banbury, Oxfordshire
Gadd began his recording career as Paul Raven (2) in 1960. In 1971, with management by Mike Leander, he became active in the glam rock genre under the name Gary Glitter.
His career floundered in the mid-1970's. In the 1980's he regained attention through the 1984 comeback "Another Rock N Roll Christmas", as well as being sampled by The Timelords for "Doctorin' The Tardis". His career ended following various pedophile convictions.
