Don Bartley (Mastering)

Mastering and lacquer cutting engineer from Australia, formerly of ARC, Artarmon (1971 - 1975), RCA Limited, Australia, North Ryde (1975 - 1980), EMI Studios 301 (1980 - 1988).
In 1988, Bartley became a freelance engineer and incorporated his own company International Mastering Services Pty Ltd.
Bartley then opened Benchmark Mastering in July 2006.

With vinyl releases, he characteristically hand-etched his initials (often with accompanying messages) in the runouts; the initials are characteristically rounded, with serifs often at the top and bottom ends of the curve of the "D".
