Diamond Rio

American country music group, formed 1982 in Nashville, Tennessee. Initially formed as an attraction for Opryland USA, the group would later sign a deal with Arista Nashville. Their first single, "Meet in the Middle," was the first debut single by a band ever to go to #1.
