Best known for playing the detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson in the 1970s TV series Starsky And Hutch alongside Paul-Michael Glaser. Soul had always seen himself as a singer and went on to score a US & UK #1 with Don't Give Up On Us. It was his passion for music which had led him to the stage and onto the TV screen, where he initially performed as masked singer The Covered Man around 1966-1967. He moved to the UK in the mid-90s and obtained British citizenship 2004.
