American rock / blues band once based in Macon, Georgia. Formed after the split of Hour Glass and after the Duane & Greg Allman album recorded 1968-05 with The 31st Of February.
Years active: 1969-1976, 1978-1982, 1989-2014.
Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 (Performer).
